After 14 years on the international scene, Gordo steps onto Ibiza as a resident with his own concept, TARAKA, marking a defining moment in his career. The residency highlights his musical evolution and commitment to shaping the island’s nightlife with a fresh, inclusive vision.
TARAKA will feature official residents Sacchi and Gala, emphasizing the presence of women in one of the most visible platforms of the Ibiza club circuit. The project carries an explicit message: support and protect female DJs. Gordo’s intention goes beyond the music, addressing responsibility, visibility, and the ongoing conversation around gender in electronic music.
The residency coincides with the release of Gordo’s latest track, “Loco Loco”, a collaboration with Dutch producer Reinier Zonneveld, one of the current references in hard techno. The track fuses Gordo’s signature Latin house sound with classic disco and house vibes, resulting in a hybrid crafted for festival stages and dancefloors alike. Even before its official release, “Loco Loco” began circulating in Gordo’s sets, sparking a strong reaction from audiences, positioning it as one of the summer hits in the northern hemisphere.

Gordo’s evolution from his early days as Carnage to his current house music persona showcases his dedication to artistic growth and reinvention. His sets have captivated audiences at iconic venues across the globe, while TARAKA events have left their mark in San Francisco, Miami, Tulum, Mykonos, Amsterdam, New York, Bulgaria, and Detroit bringing authentic block-party vibes and meticulously curated lineups.
The Ibiza residency will feature six nights across the season, giving Gordo the platform to expand TARAKA on the island while continuing his advocacy for inclusivity and opportunity in the scene. Beyond a personal milestone, the project positions him as a leading voice in shaping contemporary house music culture, merging performance, education, and social awareness in one experience.
TARAKA at Pacha is more than a residency, it is a statement of intent, a moment that reflects the evolution of Gordo’s career, his musical vision, and the wider responsibility of artists to shape the scene for the next generation.
