Biography
After seven years of professional career, NIZ has become established in the national scene, having performed and left a mark in clubs such as Razzmatazz, Nitsa, Input, Garage, Gordo, la Boite de Florida 135, Spook, CODE (Fabrik), Chocolate, Coliseum, Reset, Pulse, or ZUL; at festivals such as DURO, Brunch Electronik Festival, or Blackworks, and in European booths like Glazart Paris or HÖR. Her legendary 5-hour sets at Moog, the club where she had been a resident for 3 years (2022-2025), have captivated the city of Barcelona, creating a loyal following of fans who attend every month without exception. They have been captivated by the genres and sub-genre journey that the versatile artist has presented in each 'All Night NIZ,' always championing vinyl and paying homage to the classics that influenced her growth.
Her eclecticism and versatility have allowed her to share the stage with major Techno figures like Dax J, CJ Bolland, Ellen Allien, Cristian Varela, Horacio Cruz, Anika Kunst, Héctor Oaks, Andrés Campo, Paula Temple, Adiel, Stef Mendesidis, Daria Kolosova, Carmen Electro, Ben Klock, Marron or Klangkuenstler. NIZ has an extensive musical range. She mixes techno, hard groove, acid, trance, industrial, old-school hard techno without hesitation or fear of risk, always honouring the 90s and 00s that shaped her.
The DJ from Valencia offers a forceful but highly danceable proposal; destructive, yet sprinkled with trancy and acid melodies; a sound 100% focused on destroying the dancefloor, but selective, elegant, free of fleeting trends, and very refined, both in the selection and mixing: long, progressive, and always creative. As a producer, she debuted in 2023 with "Siamang" on Odd Recordings. She released "Black Little Pony" on Gordo Trax in 2024.
She kicked off 2025 with three consecutive releases: the remix of "Lelesedé" for the Valencian trio Nyespla (Génesis Music), "Black Dahlias and Sharpe Razors" for Arctronic Recs, and also the hardgroove remix of "Save the Rave" (BCN Records). Beyond the stage, NIZ has become a prominent figure as a content creator and advocate for electronic culture in recent years. She wrote monthly for DJ Mag Spain for two years (2022-2024), but it's her Instagram and YouTube videos that have earned affection and respect, not only from the public but also from her peers.
The artist shares original audiovisual content on her social media, ranging from feminist advocacy to technical tutorials, reviews, sociological analysis, electronic music history, or advice for beginner DJs. In the spring-summer of 2025, we will see her embark on new audiovisual ventures, becoming the face and spokesperson for some brands and festivals.
