
Biography
From a town near Birmingham UK, Ninetree started playing guitar from a young age. He played in bands and got into writing music while in school. He was naturally drawn to leading the whole process, dabbling on the keys, the bass and drums and then started trying DAWs and making beats on his phone.
Early influences were from Birmingham’s house and garage scene. He started to DJ in his final years at school, studied for a Music Production degree then found his calling in minimal and tech house after seeing the likes of Carl Cox and The Martinez Brothers and experiences at the likes of TRMNL, Music On and underground events. He played at many local parties, multiple shows at Lab11 in Birmingham as well as a couple of sets abroad including Ibiza, Sydney and Bali as his music began to spread globally.
His first official release came in 2023 called “Auntie” which saw some success reaching 12th overall for Minimal / Deep tech. Then releases on Deeperfect, Getbusy and Dosmundos in 2024 seeing extensive support from the likes of Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati and Franky Rizardo to name a few. 2025 has seen a strong Tamango EP, a huge track on Dosmundos which has sat high in the minimal/deep tech charts for some time and extensive support from Franky Rizardo, Marco Carola and now Jamie Jones. He has had further support from Manda Moor, Joey Daniel, Classmatic, Wheats, Tomi and Kesh, AJ Christou, Mason Collective.
