Tomike
Born and raised in Dublin and now calling London home, singer-songwriter, producer and DJ, Tomike has swiftly become a powerhouse in electronic music.
Over the past 18 months, she has cultivated an impressive following, amassing over 1.2M monthly listeners on Spotify, alongside a dedicated fan base of 39K on TikTok and 20K on Instagram.
Music has been an intrinsic part of Tomike’s journey from an early age. By just 15, she had already performed for Hilary Clinton—an early testament to her talent and ambition. She took her first independent steps as an artist in 2019, releasing her own music and collaborating with the likes of Bricknasty and 1000 Beasts.
Her Take Two EP arrived in 2022, followed by Some Fries, High Grade and A Good Time marking the beginning of her evolution as a musician and went on to secure covers on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Radar playlists. BBC Introducing quickly recognized Tomike’s talent, earning her early support from BBC Radio Merseyside, BBC Radio Norfolk, and Jaguar on BBC Radio 1. Her native country Ireland, championed Tomike’s development with numerous features in District Magazine and received the Hot For 2023 accolade in Hot Press Magazine.
Originally rooted in neo-soul, Tomike found her true calling in house music. Drawing inspiration from jazz, her smooth, melodic vocals seamlessly blend with dynamic electronic production, creating an irresistible sonic experience.
Since relocating to London, Tomike has built a substantial community, co-writing and producing with some of the scene’s most exciting talents, including Interplanetary Criminal,
CamrinWatsin, Belters Only, Obskür, Smokey Bubblin’ B, Murphy’s Law, Silva Bumpa, and Joe Ashworth, among others.
2024 marked a breakthrough year as she received the PRS Power Up grant and her summer release, I’ve Arrived with Obskur became a viral hit (surpassing 45+ million streams on Spotify). It received widespread industry support, including BBC Radio 1 (Tune of the Week), Capital Dance (Jam Hot/playlist), and prominent Apple, Amazon and Spotify editorial placements. Tomike also graced the cover of Spotify’s Massive Dance Hits playlist, cementing her place in the dance music landscape.
2025 is already shaping up to be an exciting year. In March, she dropped Runnin’ in collaboration with rising Sheffield producer Silva Bumpa on Aluna Francis’ imprint Noir Fever. The track received a first play on Danny Howard’s Radio 1 show, with further support from Arielle Free, Jaguar, and placements on both the Radio 1 Dance and Capital Dance playlists. Across streaming platforms, it was met with major editorial support, landing the cover of Dance Rising and spots on New Music Friday, Housewerk, All New Dance, New in Dance, and no. 2 on Women of Electronic. Additional media highlights include a Noir Fever Takeover show on Sirius XM, a live mix on Tara Kumar’s Foundation FM show, an appearance on The Sonic Route podcast with Girls in Sync’s Majy, and interviews with Haste and ASBO Magazine. Upcoming features include sets for Rinse FM’s HQ series and the Balamii booth and will be representing Spotify at this year’s Glastonbury festival.
A compelling live performer, and DJ Tomike has lit up stages at major festivals including Primavera Sound Barcelona, Reading and Leeds Festival 2025, Rise festival 2025 as well as iconic venues like Invisible Wind Factory Liverpool, NX Newcastle, 3Olympia Dublin, and Stereo Covent Garden in collaboration with Clash Magazine. This year, Tomike went on tour with Jazzy and supported her on her UK tour as well playing a DJ set alongside Obskür at Higher Love festival in Malta this May.
Beyond music, her viral TikToks highlight the influence of Black artists in electronic dance music, amplifying her impact beyond the stage.
With a thrilling rest of the year ahead, featuring multiple solo releases, Tomike is an unstoppable force in the electronic music scene.
