LEYO is a passion project that began out of curiosity about the depths of Deep House. The original 90s sound of Chicago House and Disco hypnotized LEYO, drawing him so deeply into the genre that he wanted to create and shape his own version, which he believed would be a valuable addition to the music and its genre. With minimal use of samples and a focus on a band setup, live instruments are the heartbeat of LEYO’s sound in both his productions and DJ sets. Through his releases on Cecile Records, LEYO embarks on a new path, avoiding roads already traveled by other producers or musicians. He aims to leave his own mark on the house music scene by crafting a distinct and original sound. Ninety percent of his sets consist of his own music, making each performance an experience of tracks you’ve likely never
heard before. That’s what makes LEYO’s sets truly unique.
